“Being able to create, has always been my driver in life. My best works are inspired by the places I’ve been and the people I meet. The energy I gain from these places or people, is my muse. When I have an authentic experience, it becomes a personal memory that I can then translate to canvas and it often becomes a ‘personal memory or sentiment’ for others as well. I’m more about creating Art pieces that are meaningful and thought provoking. I try to consider the aesthetics and tonal attributes – as well as the quality of finish. My ‘knitting’ is in the detail – it takes time and I think this is appreciated by my clients. Above all – when I paint with joy, it flows through my brushes and there is nothing more fulfilling to me, than to share my delight with others."

Lana’s statement beautifully encapsulates her artistic philosophy. It highlights how her experiences and connections inspires her work, transforming personal memories into art that resonates with others. Her focus on meaningful, thought-provoking pieces, combined with attention to detail and quality, reflects a deep commitment to her craft. The joy she finds in painting and sharing that joy with others is truly inspiring.
